MDS Competition Teams

Here at MDS, we offer a unique experience for our dancers who are interested in familiarizing themselves with the competitive world of dance.  Our competitive students begin their training in August and begin their competition season in February of each year. MDS Competition dancers are required to take supplementary technique classes, aside from their team class, so they can focus on their choreography and their training separately. Unlike many other teams, our auditions are held at the beginning of August of each year, allowing our students to have a summer break after our annual show. We attend three competitions per season and have optional conventions and workshops our students can attend.
 
We pride ourselves in our in-house produced age-appropriate choreography and costuming, which has won numerous recognitions and awards. Additionally, our teams are regionally ranked and recognized. Our students have won titles such as Miss Showbiz, Best Choreography, Viral Video, Judges Choice, and Miss Spotlight throughout our competitive seasons. We strive to teach all of our students high-quality technique, and the passion and artistic integrity of dance.
